Some thoughts: Although this was more or less a ship-centric fest (there being only 1 gen!fic), over three-quarters of the entries were rated under R, and only 2 (11%) were rated NC-17. I'm not sure why that is, as there would have been ample room for smut.

The word counts were quite typical, with the largest number bunched at the low end and most of the entries (72%) under 5,000 words, with a few fics sprinkled out up to 12,000 words. Given the two-and-a-half month creation period, I might have expected at least one big bang length fic (20K+), but it didn't happen.

Draco was the most popular character this time, being paired with Luna, Ginny, Astoria, and Charlie. Draco is always a popular character, no matter who he is paired with, so that is not surprising. What did surprise me was the second most popular character, namely Luna. She is not usually so heavily favored. She was paired with Draco, Neville, and in a threesome with Dean/Parvati.

Het pairings far outstripped slash, with 84% of the submissions featuring a het pairing. I was surprised that there were no Harry/Draco or Harry/Severus entries, since those are a very popular pairings that would have fit perfectly into this fest.

It was nice to see that although Gryffindor and Slytherin were the favorite Houses, there was a good representation of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students as well as a non-Sorted Squib. Likewise, although just about half of the entries were the perennial Gryffindor/Slytherin mix, there was a good selection of other House mingling as well.
